This page is a bit about me, Mark Ewbie—the stickman guy. I write, draw, and occasionally sell things. If you’re wondering who’s behind the puns and pictures, read on.
The Site
The original purpose of this site was to host my many stick figure designs. I originally called it the Stick Guy but have recently renamed it to just plain Mark Ewbie. There are technical reasons for that which are extremely tedious.
Over the years, the site has expanded to include humor on various subjects along with the obligatory cartoons and images.
Many of the designs are available for sale on Print on Demand products.
The driving requirement is not to be boring. To create a pleasurable experience from a visit, however long that may last.
All the content is generated by me.
There may be ideas from the rest of the world, I don't live in a bubble, but it is largely my take on stuff.

About Mark Ewbie
I am the owner of this site. An amateur artist and humorist trying to produce content that people will enjoy - whether it is on this website or a t-shirt they are wearing.
I started creating online content as a hobby several few years ago. Some people liked what I did. So I did more.
Gradually my hobby turned into an occupation.
My Creative Process
My objective is to create things that people will like. Whether pictures or jokes, the quest is producing original content that has appeal.
Is it funny? Is it cool? Those are my key questions and aims when creating a design or writing fifty words.
It is a fun process and a peaceful activity. It might be Zen but I am too busy to Google it.
I still get a buzz from some extra page views or the sale of a new design. It keeps me motivated, happy and busy.
Making Money
I host my art at Print on Demand sites on t-shirts, mugs and other products. If someone buys a product with my art on it I receive a commission based on the sold price.
If they buy directly from this website I make a higher commission.
These referral fees and commissions make no difference to the end price to the consumer. It is my reward for driving a sale.
For the sake of honesty I should point out I am rubbish at it. No marketing tricks here!
Bespoke Drawing Requests
It's all about finding a simple way to produce what is required and minimise my time spent. I don't make much money from individual sales, just a percentage of the product price. So I can't produce a Michelangelo painting in order to make ten cents!

It may take me a day or so to answer, I am not connected 24/7.
That is a lie. I am connected 24 / 7 / 365. I barely sleep. But sometimes I am busy, distracted, lazy or not feeling chatty. So it may take me some hours to respond.
Commercial Use of These Pictures
I am sensitive about internet usage and commercial areas because my pictures attract search visitors and generate product sales. They have a financial value and I will act to protect that.
Sorry if that sounds a bit terse. No point in trying to put sugar on top.

Tech Stuff
This website is hosted and built on the Articulation Sites platform. It costs a few dollars per month for the service and consists mainly of loading text and pictures under different pages. There is some simple navigation and not much else.
There are no social media links or on page comments. They slow page load times and add complication. My preference is for a fast running minimal site.
If you want to share a page the links can be copied and pasted.
If you want to tell me something there is a Contact page.
I am not interested in tech for the sake of it. AS allow me to run a small site. That's good enough for my purposes.
About Time
That is the end of my About page. It is not so easy to write one without going into details I don't want to share or you don't want to read.
