Other people call them flying rats.  Let's talk about the ones who like 'em.

The ones who keep real pigeons are called pigeon fanciers. They may be called other things as well, that's a little unfair.

​Pigeons are pretty cool.  I had one for a while.  It flew into a window and hurt itself.  Kept it in a spare room until it recovered and could rejoin the world outside.

In the few weeks it recuperated I grew to understand why some people love them.  They're kind of cool.

I put this bit here because I don't have a pigeon pun page.  Maybe one day.
